[News] Tom Joyner Gives Rachel Jeantel College Scholarship

After being the butt of a lot of jokes even in the black community after appearing on the stand during the murder trail for George Zimmerman, Rachel Jeantel is coming out on top. Tom Joyner a very popular radio host is offering her a full college scholarship at any Historic Black College, or University (HSBU). This after (in my opinion) black people were very harsh towards her because of her physical appearance, and the way she spoke. Congratulations to her, and may she become a lawmaker to get rid of these ridiculous stand your ground laws and any other injustices that face our community.

[News] Magna Carta Holy Grail Debuts At #1

Jay-Z's first solo album since his 2009 release Blueprint 3, Manga Carta Holy Grail has debuted at #1 after selling an impressive 528k units it's first week. This is after his deal with Samsung which netted him a cool 5 million dollars by giving the first million Samsung smartphone owners who downloaded the app, a free digital copy of the album. Also charting is Ciara with her self titled release which features Nicki Minaj, Future, and others, then it's J Cole holding solid at #3, Kanye West "Yeezus"
drops a bit and is at #6, and Wale "The Gifted" at number 7. A solid showing for Hip Hop overall this summer.

[New Video] Lupe Fiasco "B!tch Bad"

Lupe Fiasco's single "Bitch Bad" off his upcoming album Food & Liquor II has sparked much conversation over the music and social media circuit. The video appears to be an expression of the current state of the music industry's glamorization of the degradation of women. The video has scenes where a young woman and man don's "black face", teenage girls surfing the web, a woman posing with breast and butt fillers as well as a woman wearing a pink wig (rather Nicki Minaj-esque). Take a look see and judge for yourself.

[Featured Artist] Hell Yeeeeah "Love Is"

What is love? Rapper Hell Yeeeeah raps about what his definition of love is in his new single aptly titled, "Love Is." The single is the first off of Yeeeeah's upcoming debut album Love & Other Drugs due out Fall 2012. As a member of Armmy Of 2 (A.O.2) and Deadly Alliance, Hell Yeeeeah is taking the time to focus on his solo project.

Hailing from Bedford Stuyvesant (Bed Stuy) Yeeeeah's musical influences include artists and music from all genres. A major influence for Yeeeeah, the late great Tupac Shakur.

"He was a great artist to me that had great balance. (Tupac) showed you the positive and negative side of the world. Not only did he make you nod your head, he also taught you something."

Yeeeeah explains that Love & Other Drugs is a concept based album that interprets love at every degree. This album explores love's ups and downs, as well as the "good, bad and ugly". Upcoming singles off of Love & Other Drugs include "See the Face,"  produced by Yeeeeah's longtime friend and music collaborator, X3M and "So Good" featuring Quandon and TheMogulShow's own S Tha Mogul. This track is produced by Ted Talan. Yeeeeah recently dropped an five song EP called The Other Side of The Earth, exclusively produced by "Serbia's Best" X3M. Check out the cover art and video for the new single "Love Is" below and follow Hell Yeeeeah on Twitter @hellyeeeeah.
