After a shortened season the NBA has crowned their 2011-2012 champs. The Miami Heat. I'm the first to say I'm not a fan of LeBron James simply because of him leaving his hometown team The Cleveland Cavaliers become a sidekick with Wade and Bosh, but that was of his own right. Anyways, last night The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in 5 games to hoist their first NBA trophy since 2006. LeBron finished the game with a triple double (26pts, 11rebs, & 13ast), while Mike Miller hit 7 out of a record tying 14 3 pointers en-route to a 121-106 series clinching win.

This takes the monkey off the back of Lebron who has been criticized for not winning a ring and his un-clutch play when it counts. Most recently last year NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks where he inexplicably disappeared. So I guess the only thing is will they repeat in a full season next year. We'll see but they more than likely will be the favorites.
